Following the initial sharing of a “cozy” Instagram selfie of herself and the Nigerian singer Davido by a model known only as Bonita Maria in the United States, the Nigerian Afrobeats artist has become the talk of social media.
The musician was seen kissing the model’s cheeks inside a room in the picture that has since gone viral on social media.
In response to criticism from the singer’s fans on social media, Bonita has taken aim at the musician once more by posting a video that shows the Grammy Award winner at one of his lowest points.
Davido may be seen sobbing and pleading in the video. He is heard declaring, “I’m on my knees.”
According to reports, Bonita threatened to end their relationship, so Davido emailed her the video.
Davido is said to have begged for one last private moment with Bonita.
At the time this story was published, the video had received over a million views just on Twitter.
More than 10,000 comments were left, some supporting the performer and some not.
