Why I’m no longer contesting to be an MP – Kwadwo Nkansah

Kwadwo Nkansah, often known as Lil Win, a Ghanaian actor, has decided not to run in the December legislative elections.

The actor, who was running for office in the Ashanti region’s Afigya Kwabre North seat, stated that he lacks the necessary cash to launch his campaign.

In an interview with Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Lil Win stated that his legislative ambitions will be put on hold until 2028.

He stated that he cannot run on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for obvious reasons.

“I am no longer contesting… I will be contest next four years… I am waiting for that. I am going independent. Likewise, I can’t join a political party because I love both parties and have friends everywhere.” He told Andy Dosty.
