2025 AFCON Qualifiers: We will win against Sudan – Coach Otto Addo Ahead Of Game
Head coach Otto Addo of Ghana has stated that he is optimistic his team would win their second match in the qualifications for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, against Sudan.
It is planned that the match will take place on Tuesday, October 15.
At Ghana’s Accra Sports Stadium, the first encounter between the two national sides concluded in a goalless draw last Thursday.
Ghana’s coach Otto Addo restated his belief that the Black Stars should have won the opening game ahead of tomorrow’s rematch.
At this point, he wants to win the second meeting.
“It’s part of football, sometimes you’re lucky, sometimes you’re unlucky. It belongs to the game, but the probability is very high that you can’t be three times in a row unlucky. I’m sure that, like I said, if we show the same attitude towards this game, the same beliefs, we have to be mentally strong, then I’m very sure we will win this game. The last game gives me really big confidence that we can do it,” coach Otto Addo said.
On Tuesday, the Black Stars and Sudan will play in Libya. The game is scheduled to begin at 13:00 GMT. All eyes will be on Addo’s team to secure the crucial three points and maintain their hopes of qualifying for the AFCON as the pressure builds.
