Interior Ministry announces nationwide recruitment for security agencies
The Ministry of the Interior has announced the opening of recruitment for Ghana’s internal security agencies, running from November 15 to December 15, 2025.
The nationwide exercise will include enlistment into the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
In a public statement, the Ministry stated that the recruiting drive is part of continuous efforts to improve internal security, public safety, and operational efficiency throughout the country’s essential security agencies.

The Ministry invited disciplined and patriotic Ghanaians who want to serve the country with honor, integrity, and professionalism to apply within the one-month deadline.
Prospective applicants should carefully review all application instructions and verify they meet the eligibility conditions before submitting their forms.
Authorities warned that only shortlisted candidates will be invited for screening, aptitude tests, and background checks.
While stressing that no person or organization is permitted to collect money on behalf of the Ministry or any of the security services, the Ministry also issued a warning against dishonest recruitment agents who guarantee positions in exchange for a fee.
Any applicant found submitting false information or forged documents will be disqualified and may face prosecution. The Ministry further stressed that anyone caught engaging with intermediaries during the recruitment process will be automatically disqualified, urging the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
Officials noted that the recruitment initiative underscores the government’s commitment to building a stronger, more professional, and accountable security system to safeguard lives and property across Ghana.
