Dr. Clement Apaak, the Deputy Education Minister and Member of Parliament for Builsa South, has confirmed the death of his father, John Azundam Apaak.
Senior Apaak died in the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital early on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
In a Facebook post, Dr. Apaak acknowledged the loss and mentioned that his father, who was lovingly referred to as “Baba,” had celebrated his 81st birthday on October 25, 2025.
The church has been notified, he said, describing his father as a Deeper Life minister and a man of faith. However, the family has asked for privacy during this trying time.
As they deal with the loss, Dr. Apaak also requested for prayers for his 76-year-old wife, his kids, and his grandchildren.
