Nothing will make me go back to NPP – Hopeson Adorye

Hopeson Adorye, a former senior member of the New Patriotic Party, has stated that nothing will lead to his reconciliation with the organization.

In an interview with Angel FM’s Ohemaawoyeje, the former Deputy National Security Coordinator reiterated that no amount of money could persuade him to return to the NPP, despite the fact that he did not resign from it.

Hopeson Adorye, Yaw Buaben Asamoa, Nana Ohene Ntow, and Boniface Abubakar Saddique’s New Patriotic Party memberships were canceled in November 2023. The party attributed its decision to its open support for a presidential candidate other than Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s elected flagbearer.

Since then, the four have become critical to the campaign of Movement for Change leader John Alan Kyerematen, who left the party to run as an independent for president in 2024.

“I didn’t need any compensation; I was not the one that said I was leaving the party. Alan held a programme which I attended because I was invited and I said I am still a member of the NPP but a sympathiser of Alan Kyerematen. That was all…

“I am saying it, that even if they give me a hundred million dollars, I will not go back to the NPP,” he emphasised.
