Let’s put in a lot of effort to avoid an administration led by H.E. Asiedu Nketia in 2028 -Assafuah to NPP members

Vincent Ekow Assafuah, Member of Parliament for Old Tafo in the Ashanti Region, has asked members of the New Patriotic Party to work together to bring the political party back into power.

According to him, if the NPP fails to seize power in 2028, they will be held accountable, as the country will be forced to operate under an Asiedu Nketia regime.

“We have our destinies in our hands, and we need to make sure that we win the 2028 elections. If we don’t ensure that we win the 2028 elections, we are going to have H.E Asiedu Nketia,” he stated.

Speaking to party supporters in the UK, the lawmaker observed that most party members have been hesitant to defend the NPP and get involved in party affairs since the elections, particularly on social media.

Since social media communications will account for 40% of the 2028 election outcome, he advised them to learn from the opposition’s NDC.

“Social media will play 40 to 50% of the 2028 elections, and so if we lose there, then we have a problem,” he explained.

Vincent Ekow Assafuah urged unity when the party votes in 2026 to elect a flagbearer who will head the party until 2028.
