The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) has opened an online portal for voters to confirm their information on the provisional register in advance of the general elections of 2024, starting today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
The last day of this digital display is Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Voters are invited to visit the official website of the EC or use the free shortcode 71151# to access the online exhibition. There, they can confirm their registration details by entering their 10-digit Voter ID.
Only during this display period can adjustments be made, but any discrepancies discovered should be notified to the District Office where voters are enrolled.
The European Commission emphasized that after the exhibition time expires, online verification will still be possible, but corrections will not be available.
This program is a component of the Commission’s larger initiatives to guarantee a clean and accurate voter roll prior to the elections’ final compilation.
