Celebrated Dancehall legend Shatta Wale has been confirmed by the 2025 President’s Cup organizers as the event’s main act.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA), the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), and the Ministry of Sports and Recreation are working together to organize the yearly match, which is conducted in honor of the current president of Ghana.
President John Dramani Mahama will be honored at this year’s event.
On Sunday, July 6, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, longtime rivals, will square off in a much-anticipated match at the Accra Sports Stadium.
They are regarded as Ghana’s most successful football teams, and their intense rivalry should make for an exciting matchup full of drama, pride, and passion.
Kickoff is set for 16:00 GMT, and as a special thank you to the supporters, admission to the stadium will be free of charge.
