As he gets ready to leave office, Bernard Allotey Jacobs has paid tribute to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
In his final days, President Akufo-Addo showed Ghanaians his accomplishments, and many people were clamoring for him to explain how he had helped the country outside of his Free SHS program.
Over the years, the President—who is now known as the “Commissioner General”—has commissioned numerous projects in the various regions, including industries, schools, and hospitals.
By commissioning 80 educational institutions, including STEM/TVET, on a single day and launching four hospitals in the Ashanti Region, among other projects, President Nana Addo has embarrassed his detractors who questioned his ability to highlight a single development project under his government.
The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia also commissioned the Walewale Watermelon Factory and electric buses (EV).
Making his submissions on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Allotey Jacobs, a former NDC Central Regional Chairman, thanked President Akufo-Addo over his track record.
Comparing his (Akufo-Addo) works to Ghana’s first President and national hero, Kwame Nkrumah’s, Allotey said; “Ghana’s economy is hard but look at the development projects that have gone on for the past 8 years or 7 and half years. We have never seen it before. I am an Nkrumahist. I’m a CPP man but Kwame Nkrumah never did this. Let’s face facts!”
