A Trotro driver collided with the fence wall of former President Akufo-Addo’s Nima house.
It is unclear what caused the catastrophe, which occurred on the evening of July 16.
However, eyewitnesses believe the green Trotro vehicle failed to brake, causing it to veer off the road and collide with a fence wall.
Three people were apparently hurt in the crash and brought to the hospital.
“One of the injured individuals is the mate. He was coughing blood. The incident happened around 7:30pm,” an eyewitness recounted
The house is situated in a busy area close to the Nima Police station.
That route is used by cars that travel from Nima to Nkrumah Circle, Nima-Accra, and Nima-Osu.
Since there are no metal barriers separating the busy street from the fence wall, this mishap presents a security risk.
