Petrol goes up GH¢15.22 per litre, GH¢14.65 for diesel
It is anticipated that consumers of petroleum products will pay an additional increase starting on Friday, May 3, 2024.
This is true even though from May 1 to May 15, 2024, the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) announced new minimum prices for a number of petroleum goods.
According to a circular sent to Bulk Oil Distribution Companies and Oil Marketing Companies, the price of gasoline is currently GH¢13.63 per liter, a little rise from the previous GH¢13.02.
This modification is a component of the NPA’s plan to guard against market undercutting and guarantee the stability of the petroleum sector.
In keeping with the first pricing window for the time, state-owned GOIL has announced a rise in petroleum products, effective May 3, 2024.
At its pumps, the OMC is currently selling gasoline for GH¢15.22 per liter and diesel for GH¢14.65 per liter.
It is anticipated that additional OMCs around the nation will follow suit and modify their rates to coincide with the May pricing window.
NEW FUEL PRICES EFFECTIVE FRIDAY 3RD MAY, 2024 AT 7AM PROMPT.
