Ghanaians have been reassured by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that the party is dedicated to resolving the nation’s present economic issues.
The NPP claims that although the government is working hard to lessen the effects, international issues like the COVID-19 epidemic and the Russia-Ukraine crisis have contributed to the challenges.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s aide, Mr. Kofi Tonto, made these statements on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, when he appeared on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ghana Yensom morning show.
In an interview with co-hosts Odhyeeba Kofi Essuman and Otafrigya Kwesi Appea-Apreku, Mr. Tonto underlined the NPP’s commitment to providing relief and its understanding of the struggles Ghanaians endure.
“As a party in government, we are aware of these challenges and are working hard to bring reprieve to every Ghanaian,” he stated, commending Dr. Bawumia’s leadership for steering the nation through trying times.
