Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Minority Chief Whip, has been under investigation by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) for remarks he reportedly made that incited followers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Annoh-Dompreh, who is also the MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri, urged his party members to fiercely oppose the NDC last week, especially in light of the contentious parliamentary election in Ablekuma North.
He was interrogated by the NIB as part of an inquiry into the motivation behind his reportedly inciting statements. According to JoyNews, the MP came to the NIB office to answer the question.

The Minority Chief Whip and MP for Nsawam Adoagyiri, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, encouraged members of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to support their fellow party members in all political situations.
He stated that no NPP member should hesitate to defend another if they are in trouble.
He made the comment during a visit to the residence of the NPP parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, Akua Afriyie, on Thursday, February 6.
