Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s vice presidential candidate, emphasized that the party can improve the economy and asked the public not to evaluate it just on the basis of recent setbacks.
Speaking to a group of chiefs and people from Benyin in the Western Region’s Jomoro region, he emphasized the party’s many chances that may further the nation’s development.
Dr. Matthew emphasized the significance of providing Ghanaians with the necessary education and training to provide job opportunities. He brought up the impending creation of a petroleum hub, the opening of which the President is expected to announce in Jomoro on August 19.
The first stage, which will cost $12 million, is expected to boost employment and the local economy in the Nzema region.
Dr. Prempeh urged people to reaffirm the NPP’s mandate by emphasizing the value of backing the party’s developmental projects.
The Omanhene of Western Nzema, Awulae Annor Adjei, praised Dr. Prempeh for his significant contributions to the upcoming petroleum hub project. In addition, he pleaded with the outgoing Energy Minister to remember the initiative when he moves into a more expansive position in the administration.
