Prophet Kofi Oduro has denounced Ghanaian politicians for what he calls blind allegiance.
He believes that when it comes to those who have cost the state money, it is time for party followers to leave state agencies to carry out their duties.
His remarks follow the gathering of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members at the Economic and Organized Crime Office last week following the arrest of Chairman Wontumi.
He pointed out that a number of government officials differentiated themselves and had positions of interest.
Consequently, instead of hiding behind politics, a bad nut must be forced to face the law.
“Osei Yaw Adutwum, have you heard anything about him? He built schools, the STEM schools, but have you heard that he squandered money? But some were engaged in fraud and money laundering. But some of them used money to buy properties for women in East Legon. Then, when they are caught they call on people to fight for them. No, the truth will liberate you,” he said.
