Cee of Mentor fame has revealed that she had ended her marriage after many years.
Unlike other gospel ministers who have previously stated that they left their husbands after hearing the Lord’s voice, Cee stated that she departed because she could no longer bear certain aspects of their marriage.
“I was married to a pastor, but I left because of certain issues and circumstances that I could not stand. He is aware of those issues. God did not tell me to leave my husband; I left because I could no longer take certain things,” she said.
She clarified that the main reason gospel musicians choose to wed men of God is because they feel these men of God are aware of their vocation and will support their ministry.
She mentioned that she had rejected several pastors before getting married because she had never intended to marry one.
