Akosua Manu, special aide to former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has commended her boss as the most prepared and proven leader to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) back to power in 2028, characterizing him as a guy who has been “tested, proven, and ready to deliver.”
In a Facebook post, Akosua Manu reminisced on Dr. Bawumia’s political and personal path, claiming that his perseverance, integrity, and inventiveness throughout the years have distinguished him as a model of purposeful leadership within the NPP and Ghana as a whole.

She believes that every age offers a chance for improvement, and those who come out stronger are meant to hold leadership positions.

“Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been through that sacred furnace,” she wrote. “He has been tested — by time, by trials, by tongues of critics, and by the weight of leadership. Yet, he stands—unbroken, unbent, unbought.”
The National Youth Authority’s (NYA) former Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) characterized Dr. Bawumia as a leader who has confronted difficulties head-on, transformed setbacks into opportunities, and continuously displayed vision rooted in service.
She gave Bawumia credit for spearheading Ghana’s digital transformation program, which has improved governance’s efficiency and openness while modernizing public institutions’ systems.
