In front of the 2024 presidential election, President Nana Akufo-Addo will launch his campaign for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Alongside him in the campaign trail will be NPP parliamentary candidates from all 276 constituencies, as well as Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
Beginning in the Upper East and Upper West Regions, Akufo-Addo will begin his tour.
The President is anticipated to visit each of the 16 regions, according to sources, with about 65 days until the election on December 7.
The President will depart the nation for official tasks in France and Germany on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
He will carry on with his regional campaign for the NPP’s 2024 ticket after his return.
Over the past few months, Drs. Bawumia and Prempeh have been actively involved in constituency-based campaigns.
At the moment, Dr. Prempeh is in the Ashanti Region and Dr. Bawumia is in the Western Region.
