John Dumelo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for parliament in the Ayawaso West Wugon seat, has charged his rivals with distributing goods to voters.
He claims that in order to attract the security and media workers who have not yet cast their ballots in the ongoing special voting, the incumbent MP is exchanging stuff at the Legon Police site polling site.
An irate Dumelo told Citi News that if Lydia Alhassan doesn’t stop breaking the electoral regulations, he will have to play the dirty game too.
“Lydia is sharing things to people who have not voted yet and she is sharing things to the people in the line which is bad. What kind of stupidity is this? If this is what she wants to bring, I will give her a show down today..today!,” he told the media.
