Some of the Clergies Are Con Men – Allotey Jacobs on Rev. Owusu-Bempah’s Prophecy
Bernard Allotey Jacobs has responded to Rev. Dr. Isaac Owusu-Bempah’s prophecy concerning the results of the presidential election on December 7.
God has selected former President John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, to govern Ghana once more, according to the General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International.
He informed Mahama during a meeting between the President and clergy;“Because of your kind-heartedness God has handed over the country to you and nothing can change it.”
But Allotey Jacobs takes these comments with a pinch of salt, adding the person to sit on the presidential seat doesn’t lay in the tongue of a Pastor or Prophet but God and the candidate himself.
The former NDC Central Regional Chairman stated during an appearance on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” program that winning the election will require hard work and a well-planned campaign centered around the right policies to persuade Ghanaians to support any of the candidates, chiefly Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party, also known as Mahama.
Further commenting on the prophecy, Allotey stated; “We have con-Pastors, so I don’t believe in those things. Only God knows; nobody knows. The secret of God is not known by anybody.”
He strongly opined that these Pastors he called “con men” tilt towards the one who gives them money.
“They start saying those things after collecting money . . . some of the clergies in this country are not good people. They are con men,” he concluded.
