Kofi Akpaloo, the flagbearer of the Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG), is confident that his party would win the 2024 elections and take power on January 7, 2025.
The candidate told the media following his nomination submission at the Accra headquarters of the Electoral Commission that he is not deterred by the size of the two parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Kofi Akpaloo stated emphatically that he will win this year’s elections and it will be a shock to all Ghanaians. “I’m winning the elections and nothing will stop me. Forget about the numerical strength of the NDC and NPP. This election will be different. I am believing in God to surprise everyone.”
“It will shock many and a lot of Ghanaians will not understand. It will take them years to understand the change that is about to happen. Because I will win the elections hands down,” he bragged.
In response to a question concerning his plan, he stated that he has a larger voter base than the two major parties, the NPP and NDC, and that the latter simply transfer a certain number of individuals, giving the impression that they have a large voting base. “There are more voters than you can see in our list.
“We have more voters than them. They are just displaying, moving one set of people from one place to the other and recycling them so you will think they have more voters. Let us wait till election day,” he challenged skeptics.
