Every NSS personnel will undergo a compulsory 6-month military training – Ken Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong has revealed one strategy he would use to impose order on the public if he wins the 2024 presidential election.

According to the New Patriotic Party flagbearer candidate, there is now no discipline in Ghana, which causes individuals to behave anyway they choose, according to an interview on Kings Radio on September 24.

“I will put National Service personnel to good use. Because of indiscipline in Ghana, every National Service person, every university graduate will serve six months in the military,” he told host of the programme.

All postsecondary students in the country are required to complete a year of National Service, when they can work in public or private institutions and get a monthly stipend. They are often sent throughout areas to replenish the government workforce.

Agyapong, who now serves as the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, has announced his PHD presidential campaign platform.

As the fight for the NPP’s nomination for the November 4 presidential primary intensifies, he has traveled the nation in recent months meeting delegates and promoting his political, economic, social, and leadership initiatives.

Kennedy Agyapong, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, Former Minister of Agriculture Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, and Former Member of Parliament Francis Addai-Nimoh are the four contenders in the race.

The primary victor will succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as the party’s leader.

Additionally, he will guide the NPP through the 2024 general elections.
