‘Don’t dare me I can change NDC’s ballot position’ – Chairman Wontumi to Owusu Bempah
Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah has come under heavy fire from the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, for predicting that former President John Dramani Mahama will win the December 7, 2024, presidential election.
In an interview on Wontumi FM, Chairman Wontumi disagreed, saying that the man of God has no power to decide how the next election will turn out.
Furthermore, he asserted that he had the “power and strength” to change the political parties’ stance on the final ballot paper, which the Electoral Commission had just issued.
He challenged Rev. Owusu Bempah, claiming he could show what real strength and might were all about.
“If he has one, I have ten,” Wontumi declared.
“If he challenges me, I will move the NDC from the 8th position to the 6th. I’m telling you this to show you my strength and power. While we are embarking on a serious campaign, you’re playing games. Pharisees! I’m daring you… You’re not a man. I could say more, but I’ve forgiven you,” he said.
