Tain residents in the Bono Region have been commended by Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for their steadfast support of the party throughout the years.
Asiedu Nketiah thanked the people of his home constituency for their support of his political journey and belief in his leadership during his retail campaign tour in the Bono Region.
“I am at my current position because of your support and prayers, and I will do everything possible to keep the name of Tain in the good books of Ghana,” he said.
He reflected on his political roots, noting that the trust of Tain residents in his vision propelled him to represent them in Parliament.
“This representation is what has brought me this far,” he added.
The National Chairman launched a number of development projects during his visit, such as a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compound in Seikwa Tainso and freshly built automated boreholes in Arko Krom and Kwadwo Krom.
He clarified that these projects were a fulfillment of the pledges made by Sulemana Ramzy, the local member of parliament.
During his tours of several areas, he spoke with locals and reaffirmed his dedication to their advancement. These communities were Nfojo, Kogwaa, Kyekyewere, Seikwa, Nasana, Brodi, Di Babi, Nsoko, and Tano Krom.
Asiedu Nketiah advised citizens to vote in large numbers for Sulemana Ramzy and John Dramani Mahama in the next elections in order to strengthen the NDC.
He underlined that their support would allow the NDC to carry out significant programs and maintain constituency development.
Tain MP Sulemana Ramzy also spoke to the locals, pledging to finish current initiatives and start new ones. He emphasized that the advancement of the constituency depended on voters supporting both him and John Dramani Mahama.
“Having an MP without a president from the same party is frustrating, as it makes securing projects for the constituency difficult,” Ramzy explained.
