Renowned journalist Adakabre Frimpong Manso has discussed the possible causes of the death of Akua Donkor, the flagbearer for the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP).
Adakabre, the 2020 running mate of Akua Donkor, disclosed that she had been diagnosed with lung problems.
He claimed that this occurred at the Eastern region’s Nsawam Government Hospital.
Mr. Frimpong-Manso stated in an interview with Accra-based TV3 that the deceased had started treatment there prior to being sent to Accra Ridge Hospital.
“Last night I was called to Ridge hospital, flanked by her daughter and relatives, running mate Appia Kubi, I saw Akua Donkor’s body at the ICU around 11 p.m., she had passed on,” Mr Adakabre said.
Madam Donkor passed at the Ridge Hospital on Monday, October 28, 2024.
