Concerns over an increasing number of internet fraud schemes have surfaced globally.
Many of these frauds masquerade as shopping platforms, mimicking or flaunting authentic companies in an attempt to deceive gullible consumers.
Ghana is not exempt, as several persons have been defrauded in addition to other questionable occurrences. To counter this threat, the Cyber Security Authority was established.
Stephen Cudjoe Sesshie, the Authority’s Lead for its National Computer Emergency Response Team, has provided guidance on how to recognize these con games.
Mr. Sesshie shared these insights during an interview on JoyNews’ The Probe.
