Renowned comedy actor Kwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, is from Ghana. He has opened up about the painful facts of his failed marriage and the reasons why it failed.

The seasoned Kumawood actor revealed in an interview that he got married in 2006 with the intention of starting a happy family.

Unfortunately, the couple’s marriage took a bad turn when he fell prey to physical violence at the hands of his wife.

Akrobeto recalled the difficult time and how his family begged him to dissolve the union in order to save his life since the abuse had gotten to the point where it was endangering his health.

In reaction to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, celebrating their 20th anniversary, the seasoned entertainer made these comments, emphasizing the sharp contrast between their happy occasion and his own troubled background.

“I got married in 2006. However, my wife was abusive, so to save my life, I had to walk out. My family was of the view that if I don’t walk out, I may end up dead,” Akrobeto solemnly shared, unveiling a previously undisclosed chapter of his life.

Actor, comedian, and TV host Akwasi Boadi, better known by his stage name Akrobeto, is from Ghana.

His nostrils are notably extremely huge, and he has appeared in more than 100 Kumawood films.

In the entertainment industry, Akwesi Boadi is referred to as Akrobeto.
