Tracy Owusu Addo, commonly known as Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of famed Ghanaian musician Sarkodie, has revealed why she gave him a chance.
She could not imagine herself marrying Sarkodie when their acquaintance began at an early age, according to her.
As a girl from a wealthy family, she was preoccupied with her studies and was unwilling to succumb to the pressures of lads like Sarkodie.
Sarkodie was the quiet sort who couldn’t bring himself to tell Tracy how he felt, but Tracy knew he loved her.
“My cousin only informed me when I was about to leave for Germany,” she told TV3’s Berla Mundi.
Tracy and Sarkodie’s partnership has become a model for those looking to lay the groundwork for a long-lasting marriage.
Tracy, on the other hand, indicated that she needed to be convinced of what was ahead for her before dating, courting, and marrying Sarkodie.
At one time, I just wanted to send him to Germany so he could work, earn money, and help himself. Tracy said, “I didn’t believe in what he was doing with music.”
Tracy stated that Sarkodie is a visionary and possesses good leadership qualities when asked what she appreciates about him and why she wanted to marry him.
I don’t know how to describe my hubby. He has a vision and develops a vision—he tells you what he sees. If you find someone like that, who has his head in the right place, as a woman, you will know he was the proper person.
Tracy also stated that Sarkodie was once cruel to her. Although she did not elaborate, it may be assumed that Tracy opted to play hard to get after falling for him.
“We do have adult time; go on a date,” Tracy concluded.
