
Watch how presidential staffers celebrated Bawumia’s victory with a guard of honour
Following Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s triumph as the flagbearer in the recently ended New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries, a surprise party was arranged for him by members of the Vice President’s office staff and presidential staff.
On Monday, November 6, 2023, the occasion was celebrated with a bouquet and a guard of honor in the forecourt of Jubilee House.
In a video released by Joy News, the Vice President was seen getting out of his automobile and appeared to be surprised.
The majority of the employees in attendance were dressed in white, and they were come to honor his accomplishment.

The Vice President thanked them throughout his speech and underlined how crucial it was for them to work together to win.
“I want to thank all of you for your hard work and support throughout this journey to become the presidential candidate and flagbearer of the great New Patriotic Party,” he declared.
“You have worked very hard, and I want to thank you. This is only stage one, so after you celebrate this afternoon, you will start working again, and then we will move forward.”
With 61.43% of the vote, Dr. Bawumia was victorious, while Kennedy Agyapong, his nearest opponent, garnered 37.41% of the total vote. Dr. Afriyie Akoto and Francis Addai-Nimoh, the remaining two competitors, received percentages of 0.75% and 0.41%.
