Train your husbands because you’re their second mothers – Akosua Agyapong to wives
Highlife musician from Ghana Akosua Agyapong has a lot to say on how ladies should respect their husbands.
In an interview with Nana Ama McBrown, she asserted that a woman’s job is to raise and mold her husband into a better person.

“When we say mother, the M means that we maintain a home. When you are a mother, your home has to always been in order. Don’t leave things lying around. The O means you must be obedient. Some women don’t respect their husbands, so their children think it’s normal. T means we are teachers and trainers. As a mother, you are not to teach only your children. Teach your husbands too. Some men don’t know how to put their clothes together. Show him. Sometimes when things don’t go well, teach him because you are his mother”.
Akosua Agyapong started her career early on and has kept at it ever since. She is a relentless female musician who competed favorably with her male opponents in the highlife genre at the height of her career.
Like many well-known couplings, Akosua Agyapong and Amandzeba’s marriage did last forever. After around eight years of marriage, the couple divorced. One of the main reasons for Agyapong and Brew’s divorce has been attributed to their incompatibility. They received the blessing of having four children—three daughters and a boy.
