Ghana’s final 27-man roster for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Ivory Coast, has been unveiled by Black Stars coach Chris Hughton.
Chris Hughton took questions from the media and revealed the names of the players chosen during a news conference held at the Alisa Hotel.
Among the team’s regulars were Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew, and Mohammed Kudus.
Thomas Partey, Tariq Lamptey, Baba Rahman, Fatawu Issahaku, and Kamaldeen Sulemana are among the prominent names missing from the list.
Three local players were also included in the team: Jonathan Sowah, Hamid Abdul Fatawu, and Richmond Lamptey of Kotoko’s Medeama pair.
