The Presidency Job is not Easy at All – Akufo-Addo Cries Out
Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has Confessed that being a President is one of the most toughest and uneasy things to do.
According to him, he indicated that any person who says being a President is easy is certainly not working to make the country better. He added.
He said; “It’s difficult to be a president, anyone who says it’s not is probably not working. But I thank God that the over 30 million beautiful Ghanaians still have the trust in me,” he disclosed this while speaking in an interview with Accra-based station Peace FM.
Ghana’s President who is currently on a tour of the Greater Accra Region indicated that he is happy to achieve various targets set out by his government.
He, then, acknowledged that there have been difficulties in running the economy especially after COVID-19 affected various aspects of the country’s economy. He disclosed
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo was, however, positive that Ghana will sail through and will make greater breakthroughs
He then further said; “We have sustained the economy even though covid ravages had a dire effect on the economy. We have made significant gains. I won’t say I am satisfied but I’m encouraged by the rate of development in the country.”
“Chiefs complained about roads wherever I went to during my first term hence begged the question of unprecedented road infrastructure John Dramani Mahama was talking about,” he concluded.
