Former president, Jerry John Rawlings explained that the leadership of the National Democratic Congress is “politically insensitive”. He said that the lack of a hierarchical structure that could not measure the political atmosphere in constituencies often led voters to dislike.
According to him, the results of this decision will ultimately lead to unhindered execution and loss of seats during the election.
“If you have political feelings, immediately go to your husband and hand him over to the man who was warmly invited. If you have such a problem, ask your loved ones to become an independent candidate. Otherwise they will be ” he said.
Rawlings, who spoke with GJA executives in Accra on Thursday, made a statement at a recent NDC meeting in Kumasi, but said that none of the media commented on the press release.
“This will show how the media environment affects the elite in the community, making money to determine the agenda”.
The former president instructed the GJA leadership to hide the truth and demand that he fight the positive challenge of “slanderous” mercenaries in a country that violates justice.
“Without truth, we cannot, we cannot develop, development will be belated, very expensive, and idealism will be partially crucified”.
He also called for the safety and protection of journalists in front of all participants and encouraged journalists to be careful enough to make informed decisions.
