Sarkodie reacts after Black Sherif won BET award
Sarkodie, a rapper from Ghana, praised Black Sherif for taking home a prize at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
After winning his first BET Hip Hop Award, trap artist KK Rasta, known for his popular song “Kwaku The Traveller” and other successful songs like “Second Sermon,” “Yaya,” and “Simmer Down,” has been making waves.
At the BET Hip Hop Awards pre-show celebration held in Atlanta, USA, yesterday night, Black Sherif received the Best International Flow title. Blacko personally accepted his medal during the event while beaming with joy.
Black Sherif is now only the second Ghanaian musician to ever win this prestigious international award thanks to this accomplishment.

Sarkodie, who was the first musician to win in this category when it was originally launched, as well as other major Ghanaian music singers have praised his achievement.
As the first Ghanaian artist to get recognition from this famous Hip Hop awards program, Sarkodie made history by winning the Best International Flow award at the BET Hip Hop Awards in 2019.
The Ghanaian rap legend congratulated and praised Black Sherif on his accomplishment by posting a picture of him at the BET Hip Hop Awards ceremony.
In a two-worded caption that came with the post, he wrote ‘International Blacko’.
