Accra-based Okay 101.7 FM disc jockey DJ Phletch has lashed out at Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie and his management over their ungrateful attitude.
According to him, the Sarkcess Music team are unappreciative of the support given to them by DJs in the country.
Contributing to discussion on the ‘Best Entertainment Show’ on Okay FM, the renowned DJ tagged Sarkodie as an ungrateful artiste.
DJ Phletch revealed to the show host, Halifax Ansah Addo, that Sarkodie and his management feel they are the highest hence do not send their music to radio stations.
He recounted an incident when he confronted Angel Town, manager of the BET Award winning rapper about their attitude but his reaction left him startled.
According to DJ Phletch, he asked him whether he listens to the radio and hasn’t heard Ghanaian DJs giving his artist’s songs airplay but he replied in the negative.
Disappointed Phletch called on Sarkodie and his management to be more appreciative by even calling to show some form of gratitude because the former will rebuttal if he sits on radio and say tunpleasant things about Sarkodie.
This is not the first time someone has described Sarkodie as being ungrateful.
A tall list of industry players including actor Yaw Dabo, blogger Chris Vincent, musicians Shatta Wale, and Yemi Alade among others have taken a swipe at him in the past.
