
Sarkodie criticizes Akufo Addo for failing Ghanaians
Michael Owusu, also known by his stage as Sarkodie, has gently challenged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo’s administration.
Simply put, after receiving insults from NDC fans for disdaining Akufo Addo’s leadership, Sarkodie has produced a new song denouncing Ghanaian politics.
During John Mahama’s presidency, the rapper spoke out about the economy, inflation, and dumsor.

He took a large sum of money to support Akufo Addo’s Free SHS, but he stopped speaking when Akufo Addo took office.

But in a musical clip that was released, he slams the nation’s leaders, saying he doesn’t understand why our current MPs are now in charge and spending taxpayer money on pricey watches.
Political vigilantism and unemployment were underlined by Sarkodie. More crucially, he praised Ghana’s founding president Kwame Nkrumah and argued the nation lost out by having him removed from office.
