Pope Skinny Descends on Shatta Wale Again After His Song With Beyonce Lasted For 2 Weeks

Finest Ghanaian rapper Pope Skinny the “asuoden God” who has left the camp of Shatta Movement spearheaded by the self-proclaimed dancehall king Shatta Wale has blasted the latter after his song with Beyonce lasted for only 2 weeks.

Pope Skinny in a cryptic snap blasted Shatta Wale after making all the buzz with his feature with Beyonce which only lasted for 2 weeks.

Although the rapper didn’t mention any name in his post, it appears to be a subtle jab at the SM boss after his ‘Melissa’ song and the ‘Already’ song with Beyonce lasted for only few weeks.

Pope Skinny who used to be Shatta Wale’s ‘handbag’ jabs the ‘Melissa’ crooner at the slightest chance he gets and this seems not to be an exception.

The Asuoden boss took to his snapchat handle to subtly jab Shatta Wale for his hit songs lasting for only 2 weeks.

According to him, he wouldn’t go through the tussle to get a hit song only to fade off in just a few weeks.

His post suggested that he is better off without a hit song than have a hit song that will just be a ‘passing through’ song.

He wrote :

“I WILL RATHER NOT STRUGGLE TO HAVE A HIT SONG THAN TO HAVE A HIT SONG THAT WILL MAKE NOISE FOR JUST 2 WEEKS.TWEAAA”

It could be recalled that Pope Skinny in some months back blasted Shatta Wale and other artistes for showing fake love to embattled Menzgold boss Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 after he won his court case in Dubai.

He lamented that people were just faking love to the embattled boss of Zylofon Media after he won his court case when they actually neglected him when he was in crisis.

He labelled Shatta Wale and some other signed Zylofon artists as hypocrites who never defended NAM1 when he was in jail in Dubai.

Pope Skinny wrote on social media :

“Most Ghanaians are fake. After NAM1 was released people are now using his picture as profile pictures.

One thing I have to tell Nana Appiah Mensah is that; as you were arrested it was only one person who had your back and was always defending you. His name is KOD in London.

Everybody now hailing you is fake, from the artists to the ministers, to your friends and anyone you once offered help to are just showing fake love. They don’t love you”
