As an example, although 41.6% of women aged 20 to 24 had two or more partners and engaged in sexual activity with people who are not their spouses, 3.3% of women aged 25 to 29 had two or more partners and 2.1% of their population had engaged in sexual activity with people who are not their spouses or cohabitates.

The numbers among women aged 30-39 are startlingly low: only 1.5% of them had two or more partners, and 14.4% had sex with people who weren’t their spouses or cohabitators.

Less than one percent (0.8%) of the 40–49-year-old population had two or more partners, and 11.4% had sex with people who weren’t their spouses or cohabitators.
