Okailey Verse, a well-known figure in the showbiz community, has challenged Livingstone Setakla, alias Stonebwoy, her former label boss, to respond to several claims regarding her departure from the firm.
OV won the renowned reality television program MTN Hitmaker in 2019 and was immediately signed to the Burniton Music Group thanks to her stage antics. After signing, she launched the reggae dancehall crooner on her smash song “Want Me,” but their collaboration was short-lived.
In the middle of 2019, word spread that OV and Kelvyn Boy, another member of their label, had been fired. In addition to them, Black Sidi, Stonebwoy’s previous manager, lost his job.
Since many people weren’t prepared for this abrupt turn of events, this sparked a lot of rumors.
It was recently disclosed by OV during an interview with Kwaku Manu on his “Aggressive Show” that Stonebwoy is aware of the real reasons why they left the label but that she does not want to talk about it much.
“I dare you presenters to put it to him on why we left the label and push him to say the truth”, she stated.
