NPP has the potential to transform Ghana’s fortunes in a year
Former National Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu, claims that the Party can transform Ghana’s fortunes in a year.
“Twelve months from now is enough for the NPP to change the fortunes of the nation for the better,” Mr. Mac Manu, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA), in an interview, at Peduase, Eastern Region.
He expressed hope that things would improve before the 2024 General Election by saying that the majority of the economy was gradually recovering from the shocks that had previously plagued the nation.

According to Mr. Manu, the Cedi is doing rather well and has made considerable advancements in the fields of industrialization, infrastructure development, education, and health.
The former NPP National Chairman, who is also the Chairman of Cocobod, expressed confidence in the Party’s ability to carry out its platform of “breaking the eight” in the elections of next year.
He asked the NPP’s membership to put aside their disagreements and concentrate on the work at hand.
Mr. Manu urged them to shout out to the populace what the Party had accomplished to change Ghana.
