NDC will support media to work effectively – Prof. Jane to media

Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has vowed that the NDC will continue to support the media to work effectively when they come on power in 2021.

According to her, the media plays a lot of important role in the socio-economic well-being of the country and without them information can’t go outside or come inside hence there is the need to ensure that they are well secured to deliver their work.

This comment came to light when professor Agyemang visited the media foundation for west Africa (MFWA) to brief them on the recently-launched manifesto of the party for the December polls.

“We need the media. I don’t think it is for nothing that the media is seen as the Fourth Estate, it is not any other profession that is seen as the Fourth Estate,” she noted.

Professor Naana Agyemang then assured them that when NDC wins the election, they will sustain the relationship by working with all of them in implementing the plans of their policies.
