NDC challenges the EC’s declared total of registered voters

The voter registration statistics provided by the Electoral Commission (EC) have drawn criticism from Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, the Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Dr. Boamah claims the NDC recorded a lesser number of 19,267 voters, despite the EC reporting 25, 287 persons registered on Day 2.

In addition, he contests the EC’s total registration statistic for Day 3 of 43,417, asserting that there are actually 48,616 registered voters.
