I rejected Kurt Okraku’s offer to be GFA Deputy Communications Officer – Saddick Adams
Saddick Adams, the head of sports at Angel Broadcasting Network, has denied rumors that he and Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), are at odds.
During his appearance as a guest on Bridget Otoo’s One On One chat show on Metro TV, Saddick Adams revealed that he turned down an offer to work in Kurt’s administration.
“He, Kurt called me that he wanted to offer me a Deputy Communications Director job. My brother Henry was there, I said okay I am thinking about it.
“But I thought that I wasn’t psychologically ready because it was just at the end of Nyantakyi’s era and also at the end of the Normalisation Committee which I criticized… So, psychologically I thought I needed a gap,” he narrated.
Due to the current collapse in Ghanaian football, Saddick, also known as Sports Obama, and a group of journalists are organizing Ghanaians for a demonstration scheduled for February 14, 2024.
