The Western Regional Minister has put up a different remedy for the ongoing flooding, which has been worse recently.
He asserts that Ghanaians who reside in flood-prone areas must leave their homes and move in with their siblings.
When there is a flood, he continued, people shouldn’t wait around for the government to step in when they might instead spend a week living with their siblings.
After the flood has subsided, they might come back.
“Those who live in flood-prone locations must always have a backup plan; when it starts to rain, you should go stay with your siblings for a week or two.
You can go back to your homes once the rain stops, Kwabena Okeyere Darko stated.
