
Mahama Starts ‘ministerial appointments’ from opposition – Report
It has been alleged that former President John Dramani Mahama has begun appointing opposition candidates to important ministerial positions.
Paul Adom Otchere reports that the National Democratic Congress NDC, the major opposition party, has discussed positions with some of its members on its 2024 presidential candidate.
Good Evening Ghana Host Paul Adom Otchere said key Ministerial appointments such as Minister of Finance and Attorney General and Minister of Justice have been decided already.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the journalist claims that during a visit to the previous President’s office, some people had already taken on their official titles before to the 2024 election.
“When you go to the former President’s office, people have already taken position and they are calling them by the titles”.
The candidates that were purportedly penciled in for Finance and Attorney General, respectively, were journalist Cassiel Ato Forson and attorney Edudzi Tamakloe.
According to reports, decisions have been made for other posts including chief of staff, transportation, national security, and other chief executive roles.
