Lydia Forson goes hard on President Akufo-Addo

Ghanaian actress, Lydia Forson, has slammed President Akufo Addo after he stated flatly that he will not spend taxpayers’ money to fight the floods in Accra.

Floods in the nation’s capital have been a major source of anxiety for residents, and this rainy season’s severe rains are making matters worse.

The majority of people in Accra have been pushed out of their homes for the past week, with many losing their properties due to the flood, prompting NADMO to petition the President for permission to demolish buildings built near waterways.

In a statement given during a recent visit to Canada, the President declared that the mentality of Ghanaians is the reason why he will not spend a dime to combat floods in the nation’s capital.

According to Nana Addo, the horrible acts of most people pouring garbage into gutters is the main source of flooding, and he will not bother combating it until ordinary Ghanaians change their minds.
