Akufo-Addo seems to enjoy the insults directed against him – Vim Lady

According to radio host Afia Pokua, often known as Vim Lady, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo appreciates it when certain Ghanaians trash him.

The President said he was in the Volta Region as a father for everyone during his visit to show his sympathies to villages devastated by the water.

Akufo-Addo seems to enjoy the insults directed against him – Vim Lady

He said that if it were for votes, he wouldn’t have been there at all because the residents of the Region don’t cast their ballots for him.

Afia Pokua responded to the President’s remarks by saying that given the urgent need for development, it was inappropriate for the President to have brought up voting in his address.

To her, “It seems to me that the President relishes the insults hurled at him by the small boys all the time because this was very unnecessary and unfortunate. We should not justify these comments. You’re there because the people need help so why will you make such comments?”
