Afua Asantewaa finally submits sing-a-thon evidence to Guinness Book of Records

In an attempt to shatter the record for the longest singing effort by an individual in the Guiness Book of Records, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has finally turned in proof.

On January 6, 2024, the 33-year-old Ghanaian woman and her team submitted the video footage for verification and assessment.

Afua revealed in an interview with Graphic.com.gh that she also turned in other requirements, such as her appearances in the media before the attempt, among other things.

She went on to say that she was expecting a positive answer in the upcoming days.

On December 29, 2023, Afua completed her effort to set a Guinness World Record by exceeding the previous record of 105 hours, which was set by an Indian in 2012.

She sang for five days straight, starting at midnight on December 24 and ending at seven in the morning on December 29.

She sang for five days, six hours, and 55 minutes on the final day of her effort to break the record, an accomplishment that has won her praise from admirers and dignitaries alike.

Even after the competition, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum has received a great deal of support in all kinds since then.
