I’m who I am today because of the office romance I once had with my boss – Mzbel
Ghanaian singer Mzbel revealed that dating a married guy who also served as her boss was quite advantageous.
The seasoned Ghanaian performer said that the ’employer in question’ was the one who found, fostered, and inspired her to pursue music and develop into the well-known ‘Mzbel’.
Mzbel said that if she had declined her boss’s marriage-related proposition, she would not have reached this level of achievement.
The singer of “16 Years” made this claim during a conversation on Angel TV where the subject of office romance was brought up for discussion.
When asked if she has seen or heard of office romance, she responded,“I have heard plenty of stories on office romance. I am even an example. When I started my career at the Hush Hush studios, had it not been for office romance, I don’t know where I would be today.
“The owner of the job and I were in an amorous relationship. It was through our relationship that he found out that I had an interest in dance and entertainment. He encouraged me to do music and I heeded to his advice and guidance. See where I am today. If I rejected his proposal with the excuse that he is a married man, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
She claimed that their relationship wasn’t just about sex adding that she genuinely loved him.
“It wasn’t a mere sexual affair because I was in love with him,” Mzbel averred.
